585 King Street West (Get Directions)
416.506.0268
Before King and Portland became the centre of the bustling King West Village, it was the Fashion District:
There was no Starbucks.
Or fancy restaurants.
Or foot traffic, believe it or not.
There was the Amsterdam Brewery.
Some sewing machine shops and leather retailers.
And us.
Established in 1991 by John Steinberg, the salon and the friendly culture it promotes helped carve the path for what has become one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. We’ve been here since the beginning.
Today, we continue this tradition with a mission to treat every patron like a friend and strive to offer a welcoming experience in a warm and comfortable space.
We are a creative group with a current approach to individual style. We find influence in art and our environment and we do it without pretension.
